Ive just started dating a guy who has bad teeth...?

Ive been on a few dates with a guy who seems really nice and I think I can see myself liking him more and more as time goes on... its just that he has really bad teeth, they are discoloured and slightly disfigured. I know he is insecure about them as he has made a few little comments, (one being that as soon as he wins the lotto he will feel good about smiling again). We are in Australia and dental treatment is very expensive here. This guy seems to have a great personality and in many ways Im attracted to his other physical features, like he has great eyes which distract me from his teeth. But, my concern is... we havent kissed yet and Im scared that when he goes to kiss me, all I will see is those teeth coming towards my mouth! I know this seems so shallow, but his teeth really are bad! Im just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and does the love (or intense like) you have for the person, out weigh the fact that they are going to kiss you with bad teeth???

My man has really bad teeth and always had since we started dating 6yrs ago,But I slowly got over it b/c I love him. He is a great person and treats me great. I think if you really like this man you need to look past this, or you could miss out on something great. I'm sure there are things about your body that your not happy with..lol Just give it a chance
Reply:If you love somebody...then I think you can see past the physical appearance...I think you will be at peace with the way they look because you love them
Reply:If you care for this person you can try and find a Dentist that will take a payment plan. I Dated a man a few years ago and he had dental problems and i help pay for some of it. I didn't mind doing it because he was allso helping to pay. It would be a kind thing to do for a person.
Reply:IF he's not taking minimal care of his teeth now, it shows a lack of self-respect. Dentistry is expensive everywhere- so that's no excuse for neglecting your appearance. If he IS attempting to better his situation, then fine...but if not- the issue's only going to get worse. As time passes, the bad teeth will be a secondary issue- the real issue will become that he's unwilling to DO anything about them or take care of what he does have...
