I have bad teeth, what do I do?

I brush and floss regularly, but i still get cavities and have to go to the dentist to get them filled, and sometimes need root canals (I need 2 more, and have had 2 already).

Should I take flouride pills? Flouride rinse? Get my teeth laminated? Any other suggestions?

I am thinking of getting my teeth all pulled out and just getting dentures. That would be easier!

Can a dentist/dental hygenist respond to this question

I have bad teeth, what do I do?
There might be many reasons for why this is happening to you and not to others, for example its because you have a low salivary flow.

So, that doesn't mean that you should just give up because this would actually ruin all your teeth in a month!. This must be a caution to you to give more care to your oral health.

But taking Fluoride pills is not the answer since this might cause you to have Flourosis which is a very serious teeth decease.

All you have to do is just continue maintaining an optimum care of your teeth via brushing and flossing and reducing the sugar intake and also by reducing the between-meals snacks and finally by visiting the dentist at least once every 6 months.
Reply:You should have asked your Dentist when they told you you had cavities.
Reply:since you go to the dentist often you should try asking him, then doing what he tells you.
Reply:Brush hem more
Reply:Any or all of the suggestions you have made would probably help. Talk with your dentist to see what treatment he/she recommends; also check with your insurance company if you have dental insurance to find out what they will pay for. If you have medical insurance, it will usually pay for fluoride supplements if they are prescription items.
Reply:I am not a professional person of any kind, but I think you already know all dentist will tell you save as many as possible. It may not be a good option for you Root canals are very costly and not guaranteed how long to last, then come the crowns.

Sometimes you have to go with your gut feelings. Talk to the dentist and tell him your feelings.
Reply:My dental hygenist told me this about my sister! And your dentist should have told you this Your teeth have deep ridges where your food that you eat gets stuck and its very difficult to get out and that food gets stuck there and creates bacteria that causes cavitys so! get into that dentist and talk to him about it
