I went on a date, great guy, smiled and he has some bad teeth, am I wrong for only wanting to be friends?

I can't see myself kissing him with those bad teeth. I know he would treat me good and he was very nice to talk to on the phone, but I can't get past the teeth thing. My birthday is June 16, 1976, I was born at 1:35 p.m. in MN, please if you are psychic or whatever, tell me that there is hope for me in finding a decent man who I am attracted to, or should I let him get his teeth fixed like he claims that he is going to do?

Reply:I don't think it's wrong. Maybe he has bad teeth because of a hygenic thing. You don't want to be dating a complete slob, who doesnt brush. Who knows.
Reply:Never mind the psychic stuff,give him a chance. I have actually seen photos of what Tom Cruise's teeth USED to look like and they were not good... Money fixes those things for 99.9999 % of the stars believe me. Get your head around it first and encourage him to get them fixed, most of us aren't perfect.... :)

Reply:It doesn't make you wrong, just shallow. Just be honest and let him know it bothers you. If he's going to get them fixed then give him a chance to do that at least.
Reply:Absolutely not! You shouldn't feel bad about something you find unattractive. If it was a haircut or something, that's one thing, but teeth? Yeah, I don't think I could look past that either. Although, you say he's nice and would treat you well. Yeah, I've never known someone who actually wanted that. Are you sure you're not using the teeth as an excuse as to why you don't want to date this guy?
Reply:Keep telling this guy how great he is going to look when his teeth are done. In other words encourage him until he finally does it. Kiss him with a closed mouth until they're done. Bad looking teeth are a turn-off, so I don't blame you for being upset. I dated a guy once who I thought was the greatest guy, but when he smiled it looked like stuff was growing on his teeth. Turned out he didn't brush them that often. These pigs deserve to be without a woman if that's the case. Give him a reasonable amount of time and if he doesn't make a move to fix them, move on.
