Really bad teeth, bad pain.?

Okay well, im 16, and i have horrible teeth. I brush them once or twice every day, always atleast once. 3 of my back teeth ( both back teeth on the top and the left on the back) are basically hollow, but the one on the top left is giving me a lot of pain.

The thing about it is, when my tongue goes up and touches it, it really hurts, and when my bottom teeth touch it, it really hurts. I've taken medicine (just like Tylenol and aleve) and it doesn't help. Im not sure if these are my molars? It's my very back teeth.

Really bad teeth, bad pain.?
Like most responders replied, you really need to see a dentist. If you don't have one, it's a good time to get one. Since you're 16, is there a dentist either of your parents use? You're a minor, and unfortunately you'll need one of your paren't signature on the Consent to Treat form so you can be seen.

Tylenol and Aleve won't help if the teeth are abscessed. You need an antibiotic to calm them down. Then you (or your parents, along with the dentist) will need to decide the best treatment plan for you.

Good Luck!

Reply:Sounds like you have developed an abscess. You need to see your dentist, if you have one, and get an antibiotic. Until the infection is gone, there is nothing the dentist can do for you. Your dentist can also prescribe pain medication to help you until he can pull the tooth out. If you dont have a dentist and the pain is severe, then your local emergency room might be the place to go. Most hospitals have a dental department. If this is not an abscess, then you much have a huge cavity that has exposed the nerves and the tooth has to be either fixed (really expensive) or pulled out. Hope this helps.
Reply:Ask the dentist for temporary fillings in the broken teeth. I had one in a painful broken tooth around Christmas time and it really helped ease the pain until I could have the teeth extracted. You could also try some cotton wool soaked in clove oil and stuffed inside the tooth.
Reply:go to DENTIST! it is not gonna get better on its own , JUST worse!!
Reply:You should probably have it pulled out. It could be infected and then the infection could moved on to your gums and your nerves. I would see a dentist as soon as you can!
Reply:You definitely need to go to a dentist, but to hold you until you get there, go to any pharmacy and ask for oil of cloves - it comes in a small bottle, only costs about £2. Soak a tiny ball of cotton wool in it, and use a tooth pick to pack it into the cavity, it acts as an anaesthetic to ease the pain, and it also helps to kill infection. It tastes absolutely disgusting, so try not to get any on your tongue, but it works REALLY well!
