I was just wondering because I just hear a lot of people say that the british have bad denistry. Personally, I haven't seen enough british people to tell if they have bad teeth or not.
Why is it that people say the British have bad teeth?
its just the stereotype about them , on tv thats how most of them are portrayed as having horrible teeth etc. , i think the reason they think that is because they think british people drink a lot of tea and coffee and smoke etc. ...
Reply:some of them really do but, i have seen plenty of snaggle tooth people here in the US as well. poor oral health knows no bounds.
Reply:I think it came from various brithish tv-show where actors have sometime bad teeth. Not sure but it is what I have been told.
Reply:Due to different types of foods they eat. Poor oral hygien practice. Cigarette smoking. Tooth decay and similar problems.
